Norfolk Wildlife Trust
An overwhelming blast of support for my artwork was after Chris Packham (Wildlife expert, TV presenter, author and conservationist) shared my work during his #FoxoftheDay campaign on 19/05/22.

I’ve watched Chris Packham since The Really Wild Show days, so it was really exciting to see him giving a brilliant talk in Hunstanton in April 2022.
All of his work across wildlife and conservation and his more recent openness about mental health and the impact of nature on wellbeing have meant so much to me. He believes that self-empowerment is the key to success, helping to override individual challenges for a cause. In recovery from my surgeries, my new self is different. But being different isn’t negative – as Chris says
Many of us have skills to invent solutions, produce art and science to benefit all … it mustn’t any longer be about what we can’t do, it’s got to be about what we can do”
Absolutely – art and nature are crucial in powering me through!
Recommended for support by Chris Packham within his talk, Norfolk Wildlife Trust is the oldest Wildlife Trust in the country. The purchase of 400 acres of marsh at Cley on the north Norfolk coast in 1926 to be held ‘in perpetuity as a bird breeding sanctuary’ provided a blueprint for nature conservation which has now been replicated across the UK.
