Headway Central Lancashire

Headway Central Lancashire is my local support group. It’s part of Headway the brain injury association, which is a charity supporting adults who have acquired a brain injury or a major trauma injury, enabling them to live the best possible life that they can.

The practical support I have been able to have, the positivity and encouragement and being part of a community of other people with brain injuries – it’s been crucial to helping me power through my challenges of surgeries and recovery.

The mission of Headway Charity is to promote understanding of all aspects of brain injury and provide information, support and services to survivors, their families and carers. In addition, Headway campaigns to reduce the incidence of brain injury.
